In 1971, Terre Haute, Indiana's Garfield High School, along with Gerstmeyer Tech, and Wiley, graduated their last classes and closed their doors for good. Schulte followed in 1977. School consolidation brought Garfield and Gerstmeyer together as North Vigo High School while Wiley and Schulte formed South Vigo High School.
This site is intended to keep the memory of Garfield and its' traditions alive for all of its' former graduates, students, friends and faculty. It will hopefully provide a source for information about upcoming class reunions and photos of class reunions.
